Text Ads can be used if you don't have an image to be displayed or if you want to display some text or a link inside an AdZone

To create a text ad, just change the 'Ad Type' drop-down to "Text".

You will see that this option opens up the standard text editor that is used for creating a news article or a custom page. To create a simple text link, just type in the link text and then highlight it with your mouse and use the link button.

*Note that some Ad Zones (Sliding Ads and Fading Ads) require an Image type of ad.
