Before adding a school, make sure it is not already in your list as a name you may not be aware of. Go to Admin Settings > Schools. Then click the "Search Schools" link in the right hand panel, enter a good keyword and then click the search button. The search results will show all schools that have the keyword in their school name. If the school you are looking for (and trying to add) is listed here, it should also be listed in the Opponent dropdown on the schedule page (and thus there is no need to add it).

A good example of this case is as follows: I don't see the school "South Alabama" in the opponent list, so I need to add it. But before I do add the school, I searched and found that it is listed as "University of South Alabama".

If not found using the Search School Feature, then click the "Add a New School" link on the right hand panel and fill out the info at the top of the page and then click on the "Add School" button.
