When a season is locked this prevents anyone from editing the schedules, rosters, etc... for that season. If a season is locked you will not see it in the schedule/roster dropdown boxes in admin.

The main reason for doing this is to prevent accidental entering of info into wrong season.

Don't worry, once you lock a season you can easily unlock it any time you want.

To lock/unlock a season

Admin Settngs > Seasons

Check the "Status" column for the season in question to see if it is locked or unlocked. To lock/unlock a season, click the Edit link for tat season, then change the Locked Status, and then click "Save Season".

Your season is now updated with your changes.
